TYBA Basketball Evaluations - Sunday Location Change!!

When planning your weekend, please note that we have been forced to relocate Sunday's evaluations.

Saturday's evaluations will be held at The Philadelphia School, 2501 Lombard Street, Philadelphia.

Sunday's evaluations will be held at the Friends Select School, 17th & Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia.

We offer two separate days so that you can pick which date works best for your family. For all divisions except 5u, evaluations are mandatory. If your child is on a wait list, your child must also attend.

The schedule for each day is as follows:

11am - 12pm: Co-Ed 6-8 (Last name A-L)
12pm - 1pm: Co-Ed 6-8 (Last name M-Z)
1pm - 2pm: Co-Ed 11-12 (Please expect to attend the entire 1-hour session)
2pm - 2:30pm: Girls 6-8
2:30 - 3pm: Girls 11-13
3pm - 4pm: Girls 9-10
4pm - 5pm: Co-Ed 9-10 (Please expect to attend the entire 1-hour session)

Please assume that your child's evaluation will take the full scheduled hour (except for 6-8 divisions). Depending on your child’s division there may be scrimmaging as part of the evaluation. Please have your child bring both a white t-shirt and a blue/black/dark T-shirt so we can divide teams if needed.

Based on the results of player evaluations, we will assign players to specific teams in order to ensure each division's competitive balance. Once teams are set, you will be hearing from your coaches regarding practice and game schedules.

Please be advised no food of any kind is permitted in the gym. You may be asked to leave the evaluations if you or your child are found violating this rule.
